Writing an engaging headline is a tedious job for most
people. But most people who do make taglines know that they
are for the greater good: getting more clicks in
professional dating.

Why? Well, interesting taglines or headlines help convince
people to read the rest of your profile. Aside from posting
a really good profile picture, a tagline can be your best
friend in getting those coveted emails from other online
daters. Taglines, especially good ones, are difficult to
write, therein lies the problem. Most web daters skip this
process altogether instead of taking up time and effort in
creating one. However, good taglines, are powerful taglines
and can help in really grabbing the attention of a male
millionaire match.

So what do you need to do?

Think about what kind of match you want. In this way, you
get to filter in the clicks that you will get. You want to
target a specific group of males in web dating, and not the
entire male population, right? So, you need to focus on the
core of who you want to end up with, and cut the other
superficial attributes, such as how sexy or tall you want
the other person to be. Add something of yourself and then
create a personal tagline. Here are three alternatives if
this gets too complicated:

1. Taking the first line from your essay and making it your
tagline. Before you do this though, you should re-read your
essay to make sure that your first sentence won't bore your
readers. Your aim is to make an exciting tagline, good ones
can be really powerful.

2. Borrow from another person's clever tagline. Don't fret
too much, copying is not really a big issue in professional
dating. When your tagline gets copied, then it's something
to be proud of! That just means that it is clever and
exciting enough that someone else wants to use it. Okay,
but consider this, before you borrow someone else's
tagline, make sure that it is really good and at the same
time, fits you. you may even change that tagline to add
your own distinct flavor to it.

3. Do NOT use boring and overused taglines. For example,
"Hello," "Looking for Mr. Right," "Waiting for Prince
Charming," and "You may be the one I'm looking for" are
some of the boring and overused taglines and headers that I
am talking about. If you have these as taglines, erase
immediately and write a new one.
