Questions For Your Psychic

A good psychic reading can change your life. It can help
open doors, confirm decisions, inspire ideas and more. Get
the most out of a potentially magical experience, by taking
a few steps to help ensure you select a great psychic
reader.

Every psychic has his, or her, own unique style, method and
perspective. Before booking an appointment with an
unfamiliar psychic reader, take a moment to make sure you
are each philosophically compatible with one another. One
way to do this is to read the psychic's web site. You can
learn a lot about how a psychic approaches his work by the
content and style of his or her website.

Psychics are intuitive, and creative by nature, and often
not computer savvy or inclined to build a website. If a
psychic doesn't have a website, that's fine. But in this
case, make sure the reader presents himself professionally.
Ask him what benefit a psychic reading offers, or how he
works. This way, you'll get a sense of your reader's
approach to psychic readings. Avoid testing a psychic or
asking about personal issues before booking an appointment.
That special magic in psychic readings occurs when there is
a trust established between the client and the reader.

Ask your prospective psychic what his specialty is, and if
he can speak to your desired topics. Some psychics claim to
specialize in reuniting separated lovers. Others
communicate with the dead. Some specialize in identifying
past lives. If you are looking for help with your life's
purpose, don't get caught reading with a psychic who casts
spells.

Before booking an appointment, you would naturally ask how
much the reading costs, but make sure there is an
established timeframe for the price. Prices can be framed
by the minute, half hour or hour. Readings sold by the
minute can get very expensive— fast. So set the reading for
30 or 60 minutes, and stick to the time. You don't want to
spend valuable appointment time watching the clock, or be
in a situation where your psychic's focus is on trying to
sell you more time.

Avoid paying exorbitant prices. Psychics charge a range of
prices for their readings. Agree to only what seems
reasonable. Beware of any added sales pitches or
expectations once the reading is over. One of my clients
recently reported seeing a psychic he liked for the second
time. As the reading was coming to a close, the psychic
suggested she could make his woes go away if he bought a
special candle from her— for $900! The psychic said she
would light it every day and say a prayer for him. She
thought she held a persuasive enough power over the guy to
convince him to buy the candle. Fortunately he had common
sense and saw her scheme as shameful profiteering. You can
avoid this by dealing with a reputable psychic. Does your
psychic openly use his or her full name? Psychics hiding
behind a made up name or new age moniker might have
something else to hide. Look for a resume, professional
credentials or membership in associations.

You might also ask a prospective psychic how often he
generally recommends clients get a psychic reading. There
are no set rules on the frequency of readings, but once per
week, or month, is usually too much. If you intuit there
are helpful insights to be gained from a psychic reading,
then by all means, try one. But a do not become dependent
upon your psychic, or look for him to tell you what to do
at every turn. Have psychic readings done only once or
twice a year.

Help ensure your psychic reading is special by following
your own intuition through the booking process, and asking
a few of the above questions. A good psychic will tap into
your spirit, and leave you with thoughtful insights, key
signs and guiding symbols on the journey toward your dreams.
